We have sown and planted long trailing marrows from two different seed companies but neither have produced any trailers. Could that be the very hot dry weather we have been having or has anybody else has had problems?

No problems with trailing here, I have had to fight with my squash shoots and staple them firmly to train them curly wurly! What are your marrows doing monika - how many leaves - any flowers?

My courgettes have stood still in this hot weather and are just starting to explode into growth,as long as they look healthy I shouldn't worry. If they look a bit pale and sick then give them a quick boost foliar feed such as seaweed liquid to give them a kick-start.
