Looks like you had a fab day Jerry. I loved the delphinimums (one of my favourites) and I love the Daily Mail garden. I saw it on TV tonight and it was one of my favourites.

I love sweet peas too and will definitely get my seeds when I go to Tatton in about 3 weeks time.

I also love the Heritage, Craft and food marquees, together with the flower pavillion just for the sheer colour there!!!

Btw, great blog too

Hi Jerry,
Thank you so much for the excellent pictures and the day out. I am so glad that you enjoyed yourself.
I take it that the the maroon plant in the back of the car is Potentilla Monarch's Velvet. A few years back it was flower of the year and on the nursery I simply could not keep up with orders. I forget how many were produced but it ran into the several thousands catagory.

Yes, spot on. Nice looking plant and only saw a few examples there.

The most popular items for sale seemed to be various grasses/miscanthus, chocolate cosmos was wall over the place and the exotic looking Equisetum.

I also picked up a nice Clematis, Pearl D'Azur, an Astilbe, a Carex, a Miscanthus, Eryngium gigantium, and a couple of Coreopsis.

On the non plant front I only bought a nice outdoor clock/thermometer.

I'm jealous. Glad you had a good day - looked out for you on the TV but didn't spot you.

Well, that'll be easy then. I bet no-one else will be buying a plant or walking about!

I'll record it and play it back very slowly. How will we know it's you?
