My tomatoes were growing wonderfully well until they reached two foot six inches in height (apologies to those of you who deal in the new fangled stuff)..the leaves began to curl and the growing tips look as though they have been chewed.

I am not sure whether its an attack by slugs and snails or maybe that I introduced manure into the bed before it had sufficiently matured

Any ideas welcome?

Oh dear, this sounds serious.
Have you or anyone else nearby been using a systemic weedkiller near the plants?
It could be pest damage but it would strange for all plants to be attacked in a similar way all at the same time.

If you have used fresh manure then your plants may be displaying the signs of excess nitrogen,it can be quite dramatic with leaves curling and the foliage seeming quite close together and sort of knarly.They should grow out of it,if you use a feed at all make sure it is a high potash tomato feed to help counteract it.

Thanks for your comments...the reason I thought it may be the manure is that an allotment neighbour has the same problem and did exactly the same with her manure.

John... I know that Glyphosate was used in isolation down the edge of a path but no where near the greenhouse

First two lots of early peas suffered damage too but my later sowings of Alderman seem to be OK

All the rest of my produce is doing very well
