Been so busy.
Still doing rugby club pitchside bar at home games.
Work is hectic and likely to get more so, helping Trump size a tanker on the high seas means some people will Put in extra efforts to hack uk organisations.
Still got twenty rod and still site agent & Allotment Association Treasurer.

Now have three grandchildren about fifty miles away, two boys and in August a girl.

My older dog Max had to meet that last appointment at the vets in September, he was almost two months short of his 14th birthday, adopted from rescue three days shy of his first birthday. Left a big hole in our lives. Younger dog was sad for a while.

A minor miracle happened in the fortnight before Christmas.
On Boxing Day we collected a seven month old dog from his initial owner who couldn't keep him due to a change of circumstances. Four hours there and four hours back, he was good as gold.
Wife cried when introduced he is a near clone of Max, has many of his traits and has the gentlest nature.

The Grandchildren will help to keep you feeling young Peter….
Poor old Max, but what a wonderful life you gave him…..so pleased your new dog has turned out so good….what’s his name?

Good to see you back. Hope you can help win the Cyber war. I fear for our services particularly electricity. The National Grid is such a complex structure and we know they have under invested in the physical structure leaving it vulnerable to climate change storms, just have to hope they have been more vigilant on the control side but I have my doubts. Don't fancy setting up a generator!

Welcome back from me too, Peter.

I've not been around for a while either and I've missed coming on here for the friendly chat and banter. So, here I am back at last. Good to see some familiar names still posting. A lot has happened... and I have a few things where I'm hoping for your advice but I'll post those separately and not jumble it up here.

One major change for us is that we relocated from Kent to SW Scotland almost two years ago. I'm Scottish, but this isn't my old stomping ground. I'm from Scotland's North East. Mr Stravaig still has a few years to go until retirement so we had to choose somewhere suitable for that...

Anyway, at long last again we've bought our own home and are still settling in with no plans to move or go overseaas again. We have a nice bungalow in a semi-rural place not very far from Glasgow. A bungalow - heaven!

Not long after we moved here I was admitted to hospital... I eventually escaped (gee, I did not like being in hospital) and am now at home after obtaining a palliative discharge. No 'get well soon' cards, please. It's not going to happen. It's just a case of plodding on.

Right... pigs! I need to ask you something about them but I'll start a new thread.
