Chives!

My chives have gone forth and multiplied with abandon so I'm going to cut a load this afternoon whilst their tender and tasty, then pack them into a bag for the freezer. I don't blanch them or anything, just snip or slice into little pieces, then straight into a freezer bag and into the freezer. I won't need these until late in the year, when I can just grab a handful (they don't freeze as a solid lump) and sprinkle onto whatever I want.

Cheers for the freezing info vivience. I noted mine had gone mad & been cutting for home to use fresh & extra's have been going into the food bank box. I have tried drying which does work but takes a long time & colour not as sharp as bought ones. Silly me never even considered freezing, thought they go soggy!

Yep, that’s exactly what I do too. No blanching, just chop and freeze
