Hi all

As per posting from Geoff (in the free seeds thread) I thought I would write down how mine are doing.

I've planted them in the big, blue Ikea bags which are filled half manure and a full growbag on top. They planted out last weekend and were given 7 gallons of water each to settle them into their new home. I've also got 2 plants in reserve in case it all goes wrong.

I had a good look at them today and they're starting to put out the long stems. They have growen so much in the last week.

How's everyone elses doing?

Why? I'm confused

Aren't they just the blue versions of their yellow bags, but ones you can buy? That is a brilliant idea, they are quite big and sturdy as I remember (not that I shop there a lot or anything )

You're reight Dep P. Just like the yellow ones but more sturdy. 50p per bag. They're self draining as well so no need to cut drainage holes.

Not that I go there or shop there or anything.

The 99p brekkies not bad though is it?

and the coffee refills are good too!
Plus I picked up some great HUGE terracotta pots that are allegedly frostproof for £3.99, will have to go back for some bags now.....any excuse!

Lizzie, sorry, there I was thinking you'd been sneaking out the shoulder bags that Ikea provide instead of wire shopping baskets.
