I subscribe to Olive foodie magazine, among others. Delicious is probably my favourite. Anyway, Olive's August edition arrived recently.

It's got a feature on four must visit restaurants. Three are in London, one is in Padstow. Later in the mag there's a six page "Guide to Brighton" feature. Hey guys, spread it around a bit. I'm not saying they shouldn't have these features but maybe not all the south England stuff in the same mag. It kinda made me feel there wasn't much for me.

How about you? Do you look out for interesting/exciting places to visit in your locality?

I know what you mean Stravaig, I really dislike that the news has become them and us. I don’t suppose it will ever change back but I do remember the news being inclusive of the devolved nations. If it wasn’t for the fact I have friends in Wales I’d know nothing of what was going on down there, same with NI.

It's not just Scotland they ignore, nowhere north of Watford exists to many, now I get the population of the south east is twice the population of Scotland and Northern Ireland together, but they really could try a lot harder to include all their customers.
I have subscribed to various Angling magazines for over 50 years, they manage to do it and have specific sections for those who do live outside of the M25.

Yep, my hubbies trail running magazine used to do a good mix of trails around the UK. All it takes is a little bit of thought.
