Does anyone want a quick job in Medway/Kent?

We seem to have a lot of dead shrubs at the front which look unsightly. Plus the place needs a general tidy up at the back. I reckon it's a two day job, even if only to give us a start on it. As well as paying for the job itself, we could pay for food and accommodation in the Premier Inn across the road, which is where we stay too as there's no furniture in the house.

If you're up for a challenge and a change of scene for a laugh, fun, or something different, please get in touch.

Best regards.

:D

So, what do we do with the dead shrubby bushes. How can we hoik them up? Or maybe we should just get a hacksaw and decapitate them at ground level. Please advise if you can.

SMaller ones might come out if they're dead, but more likely, you'll have to just chop them at ground level. It depends how much digging can be done.

Has your new area got a community on line site? That's where you will find someone local & also get feedback from others regarding these people's service & the quality of their work. Maybe staff at the Premier Inn might be able to help you find their name, most names chosen are the area's covered so ours is what was the 3 original villages but now joined up.

Hi Westi,
This relates to our old area where we've had a house for nearly ten years. We're trying to tidy it up before putting it on the market.
Thanks.

I see. Maybe ring the Real Estate you have in mind for the sale, for the name of a reliable company? We have lots of holiday lets down here managed by the Real Estates & I often see the same van doing general tidying, gardens & & removal of furniture on the way to the beach.

Could be worth a try, thanks. There again when we rented the place out whilst abroad - our lettings agent did a very good job but we paid through the nose for it. For example, we were charged £20 for 'installation of toilet brush'. Huh? I would have given the tenants a fiver and let them do the less than 5 minute walk to Asda where they could buy one for 74p. These days we also have Lidl which is even closer.

Unexpectedly, a director of the Estate Agent business said that he'd be willing to tidy the garden and his mother-in-law would clean the house.. LOL!

OK. I jumped at the chance. He sent me photos. All done quickly and really well. Good, eh? :D Happy.
