Just a heads up, these East winds seem to be bringing a lot of migrant birds over, we are having large numbers of Waxwings in Scotland, they will spread out so keep you eyes peeled.

Must warn our neighbours with hedges with berries.
. A few years ago a flock of them arrived in our garden when we had a row of pyracantha hedging full of berries. Every twig was stripped bare in a couple of hours! Was sad to lose my autumn colour so quixkly but had a lovely two hours watching them through my binoculars. Truly a magnificent sight to see so many.

Ahh not really on my patch in Angus, so I can't point you in the right direction. Try finding a local bird club, ours sends you a text when something out of the ordinary turns up, so you can have half a chance of finding it.
