Kitchen Garden phantom globe artichokes ... advice?

Early this year KG offered 10 'Green Globe' artichokes (KGM01)for £3.95 :D to be delivered in May. At the end of May I called to find out where they were, and was told they'd be delivered last week. At the start of this week I called and left a message on the answerphone, and no-one has called back :(
Has anyone actually received their artichokes? Any advice on what to do next?

I've not taken up this particular offer.

However in previous years, I've found that suppliers often find it hard to stick to dates if growing conditions differ from what they expected.

I had a really disappointing experience with Marshalls a few years back (most plants late, then in really poor, bashed-about condition when they arrived). This coincided with a promotion that KG were also running with Marshalls.

Interestingly, KG replied to my letter in staunch defence of growers, saying what a hard time they had of it. Johnboy will probably leap in and say "Aye" here, from hard experience!

Finally heard from Eastfields, who run the promotion in KG. Colin you were spot on, they say that it's been a hard year to grow artichokes, so the offer will be honoured towards the end of June. Will be holding my breath!

I also ordered the artichokes via this offer and, also, have received nothing to date. I have tried calling the Fruit & Veg co this morning, but the phone number appears to be out of order. One of the fruit trees I received from this year has turned out to be a dud - a mirabelle plum tree, which hasn't emerged from bud, despite having tlc lavished on it at planting time.
