Would have been his Birthday, even though we never met, I liked him, RIP old friend, not forgotten, thoughts with his family on this day.
Been gardening for over 65 years and still learning.

As you know I have not been a regular poster over the years, but every time I came back I was always welcomed like an old friend, you don't really forget old friends, that includes those still with us and those moved onto higher things.

Pa certainly livened up the place & was very helpful with advice. I still grow Jazzy spuds from his recommendation as they are as tasty & good to grow as he said. He would be very surprised that these are now sold in most of the bigger supermarkets, so he was a trail blazer.
