A chimp ran away from a Ukrainian zoo which is in the middle of a war zone. The zoo staff managed to get her back. It's quite cute. Made me laugh anyway. Great to have some feel good stories when everything else seems so dreadful. :D

I saw a picture. The poor animal must have been terrified.

I was quite horrified by this. When I read that so many chimps had been shot dead by marksmen, I though why not just shoot them with tranquiliser darts. Apparently, they didn't have enough tranquiliser. In a country like Sweden? Huh?

That action by the Swedes shocked me too.
