Not quite wildlife, but I was out in Stonehaven yesterday before the bad weather hit and filmed this.

What a lovely blue, the sea is…..

Yes it might look tropical in the video, but believe me it was around 8 or 9 degrees, they didn't stay in the water long even with wet suits on. I've been snorkling in the sea up here in high summer and water is flippin' freezing on the east coast and marginally warmer on the west, but not by much.

Ten seconds after taking this photo of the Windmill in Nessebar,Bulgaria,the heavans opened and I was soaked from head to foot and within twenty seconds the streets were like rivers.And they do not have a Monsoon season in Bulgaria!!

Snooky, oof. I've experienced many monsoons but unexpected ones in not quite so hot climates must be a bit meh.

I stay just outside Arbroath and Montrose, though my ancestors are from Aberdeenshire, I was born and raised in Leicestershire.

Whilst in Highland Perthshire I went into the hills for my first hill walking trip since my operation, I was looking for Capercaillie and the views, but the Scotch Mist put a stop to that, was a lovely Autumnal walk all the same, this is about a thousand feet up above Loch Tay near Kenmore.

Thank you, it's a chunk of old Caledonian Pine Forest on quite a steep hill above Loch Tay.

This is looking down onto Loch Tay above Kenmore, the view is quite spectacular, when the thick Scots mist is not about that is, I like the colour from the Larch needles turning golden.

We,re in a battle here to keep the central heating switched off ad long as possible and those damp grey skies do ,t help ! !

Yes it was proper foggy this morning, less than 50 yards/metres of visibility, it's lifting now, we get the "Harr" roll in off the sea when the sea is cool(which always is up here) and the air is a bit warmer and the wind is from the east. We don't have central heating in our little cottage, we have a multi fuel burning stove in the living room and that warms up the whole house, there's an electric towel rail in the bathroom and a portable oil free radiator to move to any cold spots if we need it, we are all electric as there's only mains water and electrickery in our village due to the hills.

I see the price of smokeless coal has jumped considerably….so glad I got ours and my Mum’s in early Summer….
Have just ordered the oil too…..heading towards the £1000 mark….I still can’t make out if there is going to be any help with that!

We have ovoid smokeless coal, the price of ordinary " house coal" has almost doubled, my neighbour burns that, it's now dearer than the stuff that's processed, no idea how that can happen.
