at my volunteer gardening.
In the ten weeks it has got rather wild!

Broad beans are going well but need water to bulk out, strawberries too.
Rhubarb has suffered from lack of water, as has much else.
The grassed area (should not be dignified with the title of "lawn" is much better with out the sunshades.

Not bad for 10 weeks without attention! I'd be careful with the weeding as you may have some interesting self sows in the mix! Don's sacrifice the poppy in Pic 1, it will bring so many pollinators in to help you out!

We do have a proper sieve but it is small, so I have improvised! I am happy to have a coarser mesh.

This is for compost; the heaps have done pretty well while my back has been turned! Probably they got wet through during the winter and the heat has really made a great effect.
