Pegs on noses - comfrey tea!

My bucket of comfrey tea is, I think, ripe and ready. How do I know? Because it looks like green sludge and smells like standing next to the rear end of a cow that's had a bad night on the beer and curry. OMG! It stinks! Really stinks! I think everyone is far too polite about it, usually saying that it's a bit smelly. What an understatement

Anyhow, hopefully something as noxious as this will be great for my plants, well diluted, of course!

Best practice - wear a peg on your nose when dealing with comfrey tea!

Well, I am jolly glad I have never ever made this evil smelling mixture! We have a lot of comfrey but I just 'coppice' the plants several times each summer and put the leaves into the compost bins.

I brewed a nettle tea once and won't do so again.

I’m lucky I don’t have a sense of smell on the other hand I don’t have any comfrey on the plot
