Looks like my shed is finally going to get put up this weekend after nearly 2 years of being a horizontal onion ripening platform!!!! I'm so excited - it was s'posed to happen last Sat. but torrential rain put paid to plans. Please will every one keep their fingers crossed for a satisfactory erection :?: :!: :!:

re the kettle, Compo, that's what I'm looking forward to the most - a decent cup of something hot when I've been hard at work for a minute or two!

Saturday morning and it's not raining (yet), is it really going to happen at last? Watch this space and keep 'em crossed!

Thanks Tigger - feel free to uncross - after all, a Tigger can't bounce properly with it's tail in knots.
Now, what colour curtains shall I have?
Joke, honestly!

Hi Jude

Well done, cause for celebration, I am just changing my stove as it uses those little gas cannisters quicker than I can drink the tea, I am going to get something called a Kelly Kettle which you can stand on the ground and it works off scraps of wood and straw I will let you know how I get on with it.

www.kellykettle.com will give you further info, but please note it is an outdoor item not for use in your shed!!

Well, whadda ya know,
up less than a week and already broken into and two new chairs (albeit cheap plastic ones) smashed. Nothing stolen as nothing of value in there, thank goodness. Just cursing my stupidity for locking it, asking for trouble I guess, still, bastards is what I say!!!! ( sorry mods, but I'm a bit cross)

What are they like?! Jude - I can't imagine what this feels like, although I'm sure I will, in time.....

Can we help in anyway?
