Honesty plant

[attachment=0]IMG_20190831_093049612.jpg[/attachment]I was wandering around the garden and admiring the honesty seedpods shining in the sun and noticed that new purple flowers were appearing on the stems. Old seedpods and new blooms - is that odd? It's very picturesque.

I have seen it before, Diane but, very rarely......normaly after intense heat, followed by some rain.

Very pretty anyway. I suspect that in future, given the more unusual weather patterns we're likely to experience as a result of climate change, we're going to experience a few more of these un usual sights. I think the plants are becoming as confused as we are. I have a few primroses flowering in my garden at the moment !
