Went down to the allotment today to take a few bits and bobs, really chuffed to see a couple of blue tits going in and out of a box i put up last year.

A lovely site indeed, gives one a real buzz to see something using a new nest box.

That's great, Jeff. I hope they take to it when it comes to nesting time.

Our feeders have been much visited the last few days, including the first brambling of the winter and up to 10 siskins. We also have at least six bullfinches around, it's a good thing we don't grow fruit.
