Following on from Jopsy's Frankie thread if you were a fruit or veg what would you be?
I think I'll go for a chilli pepper..I look harmless enough but I can be a bit volcanic if pushed!
Old Herby sounds like a lovely ripe tomato to me!

Well Carole
I think I would like to be a ornamental cabbage!
As I match their description!
'frilly, ruffled, edges and bright colors of purple, pinks, and creams.'

Carole, i think i'm more like a cob of sweetcorn.
Takes a little while to break through that husky exterior, but once you do your in for the sweetest surprise.
I don't mind being a lovely ripe tomato that you go and pinch out of the greenhouse either though.
Jopsy a lovely thought, you an orna mental cabbage.

I really will get myself into trouble one day
Carole were ready and waiting for you to erupt.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.
We will always get some sort of weather.

My first thought was that I'm a stick of asparagus! I don't know why - just the first thing that popped into my brain. Maybe because last night I dreamed someone was stealing all my asparagus and I stuck a knife in their hand to stop them.

And as for Old Herby,I think he's just getting Freudian!

Hi!
Courgette!
Leave me for too long unattended and I get wild, unmanageable, and too big to do anything sensible with (except make the head of a scarecrow).
Or...
A small onion........often pickled!

It will have to be a beetroot, a humble vegetable but exquisite once you know how to get the best out of it.
If you'll beetroot to me then I'll beetroot to you.
Every gardener here is my friend unless they prove otherwise.
