Ok we are looking for some comments for our Last Word in our November issue if you fancy taking part.
How would you sum up your growing season in 10 words?

Mine might be... Slugs invaded and ate the first sowing, second and third

Or as an alternative it could be....Nightmare, slugs, flowers, courgettes, sunny times, sowing lots, great tomatoes

So it can be a sentence or just random words to sum it up.

Great growing year ,wet, sunny, dry,sunny again , wet again

Mixed - great beetroot and carrots, few apples, sprouts blown -again!

Lovely start, frost destroyed fruit, most other things did well.

Sowing, planting, on sunny days,
Vegetables stored in wooden trays.

My first year, never thought I could grow great food.

Up and down, up and down, up and down - again

A good start, sadly spoilt by destructive and greedy pheasants.

Very good under glass, pretty good outside, pleased with 2017.

what happened to all my plans the seasons nearly gone ?

Good growing year, Bumper crops but that bl**dy blight again !
