Twas a long night, with the Mumma cat stopping labour to demand a new birth spot, (too much dog interest in her first choice), but luckily all's well that ends well - if you don't count my sleep deprivation!

Wasn't as productive as I wished today on Lottie - but have a wonderful excuse - well 4 of them actually!

Well that's certainly a mixture! Did Mum have more than one boyfriend?
They're so delightdul when they're tiny and have those lovely china blue eyes. I suspect you might find it rather hard tompart with them!

Early days but the light & dark gingers are boys, the grey & white is female & I think the all black is female too, but she is a bit squirmy. Their colour is from their mother who is a calico, dad is an all black Maine Coon & father to them all, which is why their noses are a bit big. These are tiny compared to previous litter with same dad but that side of the genetics doesn't start to show until they are about 6+ months old. My friends sister took 2 tabby boys last litter - one is huge, one is Mumma size!
The Mumma - 1/2 British Shorthair & with about every cat colour you could think of, only replicated her colours (in any mix) as dad is all black, same result if he was all white!

Well here they are again! 3 & 1/2 weeks old & even more distracting as getting quite mobile! Currently knackered as had a visit from one of the new owners! Had to throw in the solo pic of the Cream boy - he's a wee Diva!

I think if I had these little bundles in the house I wouldn't kget any work done and would spent every moment enjoying them. They grow and change so quickly. It,s interesting to see how their different personalities develop.

Beautiful cat and kittens. Just makes you think even the scruffy battle scarred toms started off cute and cuddly.

They are eating ++, under my feet ++ but generally time wasters with their cuteness & determination! 6 weeks old on Saturday & so close to being weaned and leaving the dog! I will miss them but will be nice to have the lounge back and no security checks before I sit down!
Far too much exercise, much better to expend that energy on lottie!
