May i wish you a very Happy Birthday Alan and hope you have a superb day, whatever you do.
You have been a wonderful forum friend to have, eslecially when things have been at there toughest, and i can't thank you enough for that.
Also the very thoughtful pictures that you put on for peoples Birthdays, they always make everyone smile.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I have had a fairly restrained gardening year in 2016. I was best pleased with a massive crop of tomatoes though.
Just for Geoff - the solstice is 10.44 tomorrow morning
