Just a word of warning.
This time of the year if you have young fox cubs on your plot. Please be careful not to leave the large square pea/bean netting lying around.
Sadly one was found on our site, strangled - not a pleasant sight. I know they can be a nuisance but please keep you netting out of harms way.

Beryl.

Good point

I'm glad we have some other lovers of foxes here.

I know they cause some nuisance (a neighbough had quite a few onions dug up by foxes). For the last two years, foxes have wandered past me whilst I was gardening and, being a townie, I allow myself to get sentimental about seeing something like this 5 yards away:

Also, don't leave your gardening gloves out in the open...I've had 3 lots 'go missing', found partially chewed, played with or transferred to other peoples gardens by fox cubs!

I've seen fox cubs in the grounds of 2 schools where I've taught in Leicester suburbs, and foxes on our allotment. The cubs are great fun to watch.
