Hi,

I quite enjoyed Monty's funny veg photo slot on gardeners world this morning, so whilst it's a bit childish, if it's good enough for Monty.....

Here's my entry with Leo the cat for scale - it was massive!

Good topic Pawty!

I had a red carrot a bit like yours today, nowhere as big though. Unfortunately I roasted it & had it for supper tonight!

Pawty, I absolutely LOVE your cat. He bought back such happy memories of my last cat Pippy, who could have been Leo's twin, down to the same little white spot under his chin.
Here's my Mouli contribution which I never got round to sending into Monty which gave me laugh when I dug it up

Is Sarpo the type that is blight-resistant ?

Those are weird shapes for a potatoe, I thought just carrots do that.

Yes Richard, these are actually Sarpo Axona.

Normally we grow Sarpo Mira but tried Axona this year

I can see them as children's cartoon characters! Quick patent the idea! :D

They would annoy me peeling them though!
