An interesting test - I come out as overweight (which I know I am) and got the message You're most like someone from Germany

Give it a try - you don't have to tell us your results

Hi Alan,
I am above average on everything for my age with a MBI of 29.
I'm afraid that how it is going to remain!
I am the same weight I was when I was 35 so it would appear I have always been disgracefully overweight. My only claim to fame is that I have a larger chest than Dolly Parton!

Crikey, this question also appeared on another forum I frequent.
You have less body fat than 96% of males aged 45-59 in your country
and it suggests Zambia.
Of course, in my case I am guesing my weight as I don't own a set of scales and probably haven't weighed myself for a decade or more (so if I add a couple of pounds, I might be from neighbouring Mozambique).
By the way, when I estimate my weight, I do know that I have the same waist measurement as I did as a student in the late '70s.

Today I am most like someone from Swaziland.
Next Friday, when I've had my birthday, and assuming I haven't put on any weight, I shall be like someone from the Dominican Republic! :?

I'm a Yemeni. Below average. I liked this bit:

If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 6,074,898 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population.

Now if everyone went a diet and exercise routine to achieve that how much would burning of all that fat contribute to global warming?

However, on another BBC site - I am l8.9 - which is counted as within normal range.

Now I am comfused.

Like someone from Brazil - BMI below UK average but above global average.

There is one consolation about the BMI which must apply to many of us gardeners: muscle is heavier than fat so, if you have strong muscles, you are likely to have a high BMI without being fat! That's my excuse, anyway.

France - so at least I don't have to travel far to 'fit' in. BMI 25 which is well pleasing as was 29 a year or so ago.
