Westi, raspberry vodka!
1lb raspberries, 1lb sugar, 1 pint vodka, place all three in an airtight Kilner jar or tupperware container, give a good shake and put somewhere cool (I use the fridge) agitate weekly until all the sugar has dissolved, then strain through a sieve pressing out firmly and bottle.
Starts bright red and very fruity, darkens to sloe gin, then browner, keep in a dark place.
Frozen raspberries give up their juice more freely than fresh and either way there is a certain cloudiness, but the taste
My dear wife is putting fresh raspberries into smoothies.

Are everyone else's runner beans very late this year, Old Codger has just picked his first ones today, my are going to be about another week. That's a full month later than most years.
