I note that Peter has put some useful links which I am sure will be a great use to some.
With the reorganization of the entire website I found myself locked out and having to reorganize my whole computer set-up.
Like me my computer is getting on in years as computers go and I have spent hours and hours making a complete hash of it but feel that i have now made it that I can now get to do what I require to be able to read and post on this this forum.
This is about the fourth update to the forum but this update has really drained me. At one point I nearly said sod it and was all ready to pack it in but I have been contributing for about 15 years (now I think)and although I seldom contribute now I always read when I am around.
I suspect there are going to be some older members who will no longer bother to contribute which will be a great loss to the forum.
Is there any way the magazine can contact people by email to encourage them to contribute.
Sincerely,
JB

Good morning Johnboy. Now isn't that a thing? I have just come from making a cup of tea and I was thinking it will soon be April and your birthday again. Come on the forum and here you are!
I had noticed you hadn't been here for a while and wondered if you were having the same problem as the rest of us finding our way back. When I finally got back into the forum I suggested to KG Admin that it might be a courtesy to e-mail all members to tell them what had been going on. I certainly don't think that e-mail got to everyone.
Anyway, good to see you back and hope to see more of you.

A very good morning to you Alan.
How are you keeping?
I pressed preview instead of submit last night and then pressed submit and consequently ended up with a double entry. This appears to have miraculously reduced to a single entry.
It appears that there is no method of deleting anything now. If there is please advise me. Having changed my browser I have now lost my spell check so be prepared for a few laughs.
I think you probably missed the worst of the gale the other night but I lost two tunnels, ripped to shreds. All my tunnels were equipped with electricity and telephone and water and I have had to isolate these from the system and am now getting a bit doddery so I take a garden kneeler (used as a seat) everywhere and do something and then sit down. Very slow but I get there in the end.
Gardenwise I am not growing very much this year. Shallots, your favourites (runner beans!) and a few peas. The rest of my veg will come from Morrissons!
What I am growing are shrubs because I take a few cuttings and I am back to how things used to be. I can sit at my bench and while a few hours away to pass the time. I have no market for the shrubs so we will have to see what happens when they have matured a bit.
I probably will end up dumping them.
On that happy note I will close.
Sincerely,
JB.

When you have made a post that you wish to edit or delete there should be small icons to the top right hand corner of your post.
Edit is a green icon and delete is a red icon with a cross in it.

JB top right of every post is a row of buttons, the one with an X on it.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

What you may notice is the strange echo in here

Thank you all for your advice,
I am familiar with the normal proceedures but because I foolishly managed to get a double entry one preview and the other sumit no icons appeared. As this was my first posting on the new updated system I jumped to the wrong conlcusion.
Sincerely,
JB.
