A whole year trouble free!

Just noted it's been a whole year since peter posted in website help! Bet that looks good for anyone joining the forum.
Best they don't read general chatter too closely though - don't know how often I refer to posts in here for website help! I suppose it's got to be said I'm a slow learner, but have never totally grasped changing avatar & posting pics. Crop away as much as I can but mostly always still too big.
Maybe easier with Mr Apple, but to date only downloaded pics, (B+) for that as I did it without the idiots guide! My 2nd to next challenge then - first I am going to try drawing the Lottie's winter planting plan & create a Lottie folder - might be a wee while until you see a new Westi on my profile pic I think!

Ha! Hmmm!
Back already - anyone know where to find the drawing tool on a Mac?? Found it on presentations but that is not going to fit the bill. Re-assuring that it is actually available so must be somewhere else. Looked it up on the net & they want me to buy an App - is this the only way? (It was a wee bit expensive as well).
Maybe I'll stick to mastering pictures & find the ruler instead.

Westi, on my (albeit ancient) Mac, I create a document, go to "Window" on the top bar, pull this down to "Show tools" and a tool bar appears on the left for all your drawing and painting requirements.

It might have been a year since Peter posted a thread in website help but don't be under the illusion that it has been trouble free time for either moderators or admin.
Having noticed some very odd names having become 'latest members' to join the site over the last 3 or 4 days, some of whom have already made (and had removed) some dodgy posts I decided to take a look at the list of members who have joined recently.
Of the 50 names who have joined since the beginning of September 2015 a big percentage have had posts removed, I would assume as spam or other dubious type posts
At a quick glance I could count on one hand the number who hade made genuine posts in that time since joining.
Sadly it seems that those who want to cause hassle on the site out number those who contribute positively.
Not sure if I am right but it seems to me people can join easily and almost instantly cause bother.
In the case of 3 posters recently the posts were of such number they appeared to be automated.
Not sure if there really is an effective way to overcome that problem

Yet... Makes a change for me, I'm usually quite a controversial trouble maker lol

without naming names, I just saw an example of this over on seasonal tips... same post, 4 times, 4 unique threads... Whats the point?

Thanks Monica!
Doesn't show on mine but haven't had a good play with any of these so might start another adventure in Mac. I keep looking up things & get totally distracted & end up playing with something completely different! Mind fills the dark evenings!

Westi, I use PowerPoint for my plans, which I suppose will not neccesarily help you on a Mac. I could equally use Word.
No doubt you could use Keynote or Apple's word-processing package.
