hello
dh has recently bought a new mower-he was so enthusiastic with his qualcast that he's taken all the grass of my circular lawns!
we now have nice mud circles with the odd smattering of grass-it's a bit like an old man with a combover (no offence to those who wear their hair this way!)
i've been literally chucking seeds onto it and aireating, watering, removed thatch using a scarifier etc
what's the best way to improve it without starting from scratch-as it is looking hopeless!?

I lost a patch of my lawn with an over enthusiastic mower and it looked awful for a while, but it just grew back after a few weeks. I didn't do anything except avoid treading on the muddy bit.

that's really tricky as it really is most of the lawn
and we have to cross it to get to the potting shed!
maybe i need a pathway?
