Help with Red-currant please!

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Before we planted the red currant bush, It was left to sit in a not to cold bedroom, so maybe the following complait has something to do with that.
:(
Because the bush wasn't hardened off or anything it didnt get to develop woody shoots so it just has green floppy things  and now its leaves have gone off green and white, I dunno what to do as I'm new to this gardening lark, so please help!?

It should have been outside, not in,Carrotsticks, but I take it you've planted it out now so the floppy growth it made has now been scorched by the cold.I would be inclined to cut back the soft growth and let it shoot anew.
