Hi All - I've been growing the new 'black' tomato 'Indigo Rose' from Suttons this year. The plants look very healthy and are setting plenty of fruit which is still very green at the moment. However the leaves are very curled - like you'd expect if the atmosphere in the greenhouse was too dry, yet my 'Gardener's Delight' and 'Alicante' are fine. Is anyone else growing it and if so have you experienced the same thing?

I haven't grown it but I always grow Black Cherry and it invariably does the same, might share some genes.

I only grow 'Gardeners Delight' (I know, very boring) and they have very curly leaves at the top. By pure chance, I read recently - and, being of a rather advanced age, I can't remember where - that this is entirely normal on young plants of some tomato varieties and probably caused by fluctuating day and night temperatures. Ours certainly seem healthy and setting fruit.

To try and illustrate the point, I have two Black Cherry with a Red Cherry to the left and a Sungold to the right. Not as clear as I hoped but having taken the trouble to hang the dust sheet I thought I might as well use them!
