Been down to the plot today as I do every day, decided to check up on my early patatoes
I planted 3 different types, pentland javlin, swift and casablanca, some of the swift look like they are dying so I lifted 4 that looked the worst, most had patatoes on the root but all where bad I finnished up lifting about 7 all apart from 1 where disappointing I got a total of adout 15 edible spuds, the javlin and casablanca look far more healthy so I am hoping all is not lost, I will not be sowing swift again even the edible ones do not look that appetising

When you say "all were bad" - rotten? tiny? slug-eaten?
