Five years ago my 14 y.o granddaughter, Harriet, sent me a birthday Thank You card with a drawing she’d done of a huge gardening multi-tool in the form of a Swiss Army knife. I put the picture on the site and it received several amusing and appreciative comments. So I thought you might like to see Harriet today, having just been awarded her 'Wings' as BA cabin crew at Gatwick.

Morning JohnN, did you post that picture on here, as a memory of it seems to be lurking in my Scatter-brain head....?

You must be very proud of her indeed, getting her wings, skys the limit now then. :)

Please pass my congratulations on to her, although i know that won't really mean much, as she doesn't know me, but the thought is there.... :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Mornin' OH - Yes, I put the tool pic on General Chatter and you were one of the kind respondents who said how nice it is to see a youngster who writes 'thank you' letters. (Jan 10 2009). Many thanks for your comments today; Harriet's a right little 'toughie', she went swimming in the sea at Brighton last week!
