How about this for - I think - a rather subtle cartoon. Took me a good half-minute to "get it" and three friends I showed it to had to have it explained. Let's see how you all do ....

Yes, gay Unicorns indeed! But what I like is the way the cartoonist has conflated two legends:
1) The animals were saved from extinction in the flood by breeding pairs being taken into the ark "two by two".
2) Unicorns once roamed the earth and are now extinct because they didn't breed.
Well, I thought it was clever.
