Can anyone recommend a variety of onion that would be suitable for pickling

I grow 'Paris Silverskin'. We just use them in cooking or salads as a very small onion - not for pickling.
Germination is excellent and they grow well with very little attention. Another bonus is that you seem to get a lot of seeds in the packet whatever the name on the front.
