does music encourage growth

our 8 year old has started learning to play the trumpet, ive managed to convince him that a daily hours practice in the veg garden will make them grow better :twisted:
will this harm the plants or actually encourage them?

I've always believed that loud music stimulates growth; they did a thing about this on GW a few years ago. May just be another myth though. I often leave the radio on in my greenhouse, but it is primarily to keep the squirrels out.

Certainly movement of air or brushing lightly makes for sturdier growth. Perhaps a blast of Trumpet Voluntary would get the air moving.Not sure about variations on Carnival of Venice.

Keeps the pigeons off the brassicas and peas though,I bet!!

Maybe the plants will be o.k,but it might start a fued with the neighboughs :twisted: ask your lad to stand in some compost while he's playing...maybe he'll grow as well :twisted:
