New mallards

After many years one of our visiting wild ducks has successfully kept half a dozen ducklings safe from predators. Here they are this morning on a regular visit to our duck feeder.

They are good fun to watch, wouldn't you agree Alan! My Mum had a Mallard with twelve Ducklings, but now has only two left, rather sad.

Oh Alan! How wonderful! Today I saved a seagull at work that fell off the roof - long story but our 'bird' man was a sight covered in droppings from the parents when he came to rescue it!

(I did only laugh behind his back though, so saved his self esteem - bet he was glad to get back to his hawks!)
