My son has just taken over another allotment this week next to his own, the lady who had it has given it up.
There are currant bushes on it red and black and was wondering when is the best time to move them to a different part of the plot?
Also some raspberry plants with fruit on at the moment would it be safe to assume they are autumn ones. He has already dug out some potatoes he's not sure what else he will find as its overgrown with weeds.

When dormant and ground isn't frozen, prune them at the same time.
If former tensnt looked after them then they're probably autumn fruiting, hut if neglected they might not be, his pruning will direct them.
