When our last cat died exactly three years ago at the age of twenty, we decided we would not get another cat. Someone thought different :!:

We have now completed the adoption process, that is, we have been adopted by this fellow -

He had been coming round the garden for a month or more and was so nervous he would run as soon as he saw anyone. Then a few days ago he decided to change plan and allowed himself to be stroked, came into the house and ate. So we're cat owners again :)

He is young and seems totally house-trained and able to use the cat-flap, at least to get out. He was very starved but is quickly perking up. He'll be Tomos (Twm for short). Twm is pronounced tum, which is what he's developing

he's a beauty! I love it when cats adopt new owners! this happened to my parents a few years ago. she sadly went to kitty heaven last year, but thoroughly enjoyed her later years being molly coddled by my mum!

Tomos update

Tomos writes: "When they got round to examining my rear end they discovered I was female, which I knew already; I was just having them on by trying to spray the fridge!. The vet decided I was about a year old, which I also knew, and she also found I had already been spayed, which I didn't know - must have been asleep at the time

I have settled down well, sleep on their bed and wake them at 4am most days. I'm also pretty good at eliminating vermin (little ones, that is).

My name is still Tomos, which didn't half confuse them at the vet's

Cofion gorau - Best regards Tomos"

Wow! Well & truly at home with you. Do you know any of her history - I can't believe owners would not search high & low for such a beautiful cat!

I adopted the other way & hopefully if I followed the website help correctly I'd like to introduce Luna May! (My friends cat had kittens & this one just had so much character & spirit I'd knew she'd cope in this pet paradise)! That's 2 dogs, 3 cats & 1 budgie now - more that enough!

She looks lovely, and I also can't understand why a frantic owner is not out looking for her, but perhaps her owner just died or something like that, or a new screaming baby arrived in the house and she decided to look for somewhere more peaceful.
