I've just sterted a new strawberry bed, I understand I cant grow strawberries on the old patch again, but is there anything else I shouldn't grow, this year for instance, I was thinking of putting in some outdoor bush tomatoes?

''Strawberries should also not follow such plants as tomatoes, potatoes, peppers,
eggplants, peas, beets, raspberries, or blackberries since these plants may serve as hosts for
vermicillum wilt or other diseases which can remain in the soil and infect the strawberries.''

Found on a companion planting site. I guess the same sort of plants should not be planted after strawberries too?

They can stay in the same place for 3 years, then they lost their vigour, don't crop as well and you need to replace them. The cheapest way to do this is to pot up runners from the current plants, but if they have a virus this'll obviously be transmitted to their babies. Then plant them (or the new plants you've bought) in another place in case disease has developed in the soil. You don't have to move them every year. In fact this could be detrimental to the cropping potential. I find my strawberries crop best in their 2nd year.
