Hi again.
What's gone wrong with my beetroot ?
At first they were doing fine, looking very healthy plants but, they have seem to have stopped growing and some of the leaves have turned a purple / golden colour. They are looking rather sickly.
I remember reading on this forum a little while back about using Epsom salts on things that are sickly, so should I give that a go and see what happens ?
If yes, give the Epsom salts a go, how much should I use per gallon/litres of water ?
Thanks.

I have never used Epsom Salt in the garden before but have just bought some and my research suggests that it is 1 tablespoon full to 1 gallon of water for a general spray. I am going to use mine on dwarf beans which look decidedly unhappy in one part of the garden (the others are fine).
Unfortunately my young beetroot plants were all eaten by slugs and sparrows.
