Bedroom Tax and MPs Second Homes

With the so-called 'bedroom tax' looming, wouldn't it be a great idea to apply similar limits to MPs second home expenses?

In other words, one MP = 1 bedroom property, and the total amount paid towards it from the public purse not exceeding the Local Housing Allowance for the area. If they want anything bigger or more expensive, they pay the difference themselves!

Ok, it wouldn't save the country a fortune in the scheme of things, but at least it would be a small gesture towards fairness.

I bet they won't be taking me up on that idea!

Dear Bert, it's the same with most things i'm afraid, and that's, it's one rule for one, and another rule for the others.
