Will it be presented by Toby Buckland? Or Chris Beardshaw, perhaps. They've experienced a malfeasance or two perpetrated by one particular posho, baggy-wag-clutching gardener and his cronies.

And thought us gardeners were kindly folk. Seems I am very much mistaken.

Don't know if it will be in the programme but there was a bit on the radio. One of the disputes the allotment association had to deal with was somebody using their plot to mine coal.

Watched the programme and enjoyed it but I would have liked to have had more information on why the teacher's assistant,Ben, was being persecuted by that allotment committee in Manchester. We only had a part of the story.

I was a little disappointed. What were those 2 girls up to. Who's going to come back while all that racket was going on?
Who ever the intrudor is was probably having good laugh about it.

Never been so glad to have my own garden in my life! What a carry on. Are allotment committees really THAT bad? And the competition gardener throwing perfectly good but small carrots in the bin because they weren't big enough, really got mine and my hubbys blood boiling!

Just watched the recording. Thought it was about a few sad men and there efforts to win at shows. Nothing about veg for the table. Fortunately we do not have veg shows on our plots.

Hi VPM

How right you are! How glad I am that my allotment days are 13 years in the past and 160 miles away from where we are now. They certainly did feature all the worst sort of allotmenteers.
