Time to remember how many greats we have lost in the course of the year - as well as some not so greats, and maybe some we never liked or even never knew of.

It's a good job this isn't a quiz because I'd have to confess I'm not sure I recognise all of them. Not being a huge TV watcher, a lot of the "celebs" just pass me by.

more to the point how many pesticides & herbicides have we lost in 2012 ? with the loss of bordeaux powder in 2013 things are looking really grim. after this last summer it's time we made a stand to keep what few we have left.

farmer jon - how weird you mention this!
Had a lovely conversation (well nearly full blown argument) with a family member all for the crusade of banning everything! Doesn't have any land & does no growing & is no spring chicken as is the wrong side of 50 & has lived this far without having a clue what was applied to supply her bargains from shores afar!
Some things are fine, cause no harm & protect the crops that feed the nation & while no offence is meant to alternative thinkers we need to ensure this remains, or if we face the challenges of the year past again it may not be possible!
