I have a little wooden shelving system that I have created for my astronomical observatory. Unfortunately when we have really wet weather green mould appears. Have previously scrubbed it off with Jeyes fluid and then revarnished it, but it is back again today. Any suggestions?

Colin, there is a spray mould remover which we have successfully used in the garage before. Perhaps you could bring the shelving unit indoors to dry it out properly and then treat it?

Thanks Monika. Will look it up. The other option is probably to paint it black !

Bleach is usually pretty effective for removing mould too.

I agree with Elaine, that I think Bleach is the best for removing green mould because of Bleach can have very much better remove green mould than spray mould remover. I will recommend Bleach to you.
