I've been finding this week that every time I want to log into the site (unless I'm following a new post notification link) I'm being directed first to the log-in page and having to re-insert my user name & password. . Is this a general anti-spamming precaution happening to everybody, or just the way my computer seems to be programmed?

It's not happening to me - have you changed your computer settings so that it doesn't remember passwords. Or has you virus protection been updated and changed the settings?

I've had this problem for a long time, having to log in every time I want to contribute to a discussion, even though I tick the "keep me logged in" box. However, the problem seems to have disappeared recently - here's hoping!
