Carrots and nematodes

Our carrots have done really well this year but I am now finding the odd one with carrot root fly damage (presumably the little blighters got in when the netting cage was open for harvesting the carrots). Is it too late in the year to apply nematodes? I understand that Nemasys "Grow your own" would attack the root fly. or should I now leave the carrots exposed to the elements altogether?
