Today whilst in the midst of the usual school morning chaos, you know getting the pack ups done, chivvying the girls into their uniforms and then into the bathroom for teeth brushing etc, the door bell sounded.

Flustered I hurried to open it to find the Head Teacher on my doorstep with a lovely arrangement of flowers for me as a thank you for working in the veg patch over the summer break :) . I was so very surprised and quite speechless (although I did manage to stutter a 'Thank you' and 'you really didn't need to' ) whilst beaming from ear to ear :D

What a lovely start to the day.
