Exam results.

Son, A-levels, predicted A* A A, acieved ABC, Oxford out, 2nd choice (chosen on the toss of a coin) conditional on predicted

results, rings 2nd choice for clearing options, "your offer was UNconditional, clerical error on the letter".
So he's off to his preferred destination, he though Oxford might be a struggle.
Daughter has ten GCSE A*'s.

Well done, Peter's offspring! The suffering is over now for another two years until daughter takes A levels - I know the feeling, having "nursed" six children and, to date, four grandchildren through the exam times. Horrid time for parents and grandparents, never mind the examinees!
