I do not know how Camelot can justify having a jackpot on Tuesday 7th August of £151.012,000. and then on Friday 10th August having the British jackpot winner being awarded £148,656,000. which means a decrease of money of nearly £2,500,000. which means that all the money taken plus the £2,500,000. taken since Tuesday has gone somewhere. Where I wonder?
The last time they did something like that they put it down to the exchange rate but the amount of money taken in since Tuesday will be an enormous amount of money and the exchange rate would have changed massively to account for this amount to be involved.

Notice how the Government is getting more and more involved on where the money is going.

I thought the government was 'backing off' and letting 'charities' take over the financial aspect and only jump back in when there is any back slapping to be received. Especially in the way of health care.
I wish I knew how to trace what official cars the 'big nobs' of charities drive and how much out of every £ donated actually ends up where the donator thinks it does.
Cheers, Tony.

Some charities are "lobbying organisations" and many pay normal rates for IT staff, where do you think all those mail shots come from?
Many charities also get a large portion of their income from government funding, I.e. tax receipts.

Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
